HAA Gallery

Unique in atmosphere, the gallery space is suitable for organising diverse exhibitions and events, including media art displays. Each exhibition period is four weeks in duration, and the exhibition periods can be applied for once a year. The exhibition rent includes the supervision and cleaning of the gallery space as well as the communications and marketing. The artist is responsible for the transportation of the artworks, setting up and taking down the exhibition, insurances, and for the food and drink served at the opening.

Members of the Helsinki Artists’ Association are entitled to a member discount of 10% on all rents. The discount applies also to groups, if at least half of the group members are current members of HAA.

Open call for exhibition periods

The annual exhibition applications for the Helsinki Artists' Association (HAA) are open to individual artists, artist groups, and organisations. Exhibition selections are made by the exhibition committees of the Helsinki Artists' Association. The application process for exhibition slots during the 2027 periods will be organized simultaneously at HAA Gallery, Gallery Katariina, and Malmitalo gallery. The electronic application form, along with detailed instructions, will be available on the galleries' websites starting 20 October 2025.
