Malmitalo gallery’s spaces and fees

Malmitalo gallery is located on the building’s ground floor next to the main entrance. The size of the gallery space is approximately 56m². Malmitalo gallery does not charge an exhibition fee. Exhibition services include electronic surveillance and cleaning of the space, as well as communications, marketing and arrangements for the opening. The artist is responsible for setting up and taking down the exhibition, and for the insurances.

Open call for exhibition periods

The annual exhibition applications for the Helsinki Artists' Association (HAA) are open to individual artists, artist groups, and organisations. Exhibition selections are made by the exhibition committees of the Helsinki Artists' Association. The application process for exhibition slots during the 2027 periods will be organized simultaneously at Malmitalo gallery, Gallery Katariina, and HAA Gallery. The electronic application form, along with detailed instructions, will be available on the galleries' websites starting 20 October 2025. 

Exhibition proposals to galleries will be accepted until Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., via the electronic form:
